Message alert pop up box

I'm building a database for DVD sells in my Church. In the Orders entry form I would like a pop up message to alert the user if a customer attempts to make a new Order with an outstanding payment on a previous Order.
If anyone can help me with how to go about it.

I've got Customers, Products and Orders Tables. In my Orders Table I have Order ID, Customer ID and Product ID fields. I have also made a relationship between Customer ID & Customer ID in the Orders Table like wise the Products ID.

That tells us nothing about your platform. All I can guess is that you're using a database of some sort.
