We have two separate database servers. One with DB2 v8.2/windows 2003 and the 2nd one is DB2 v9.7/windows 2008.
Also, we have a separate machine for the admin client, which has DB2 V8.2 administration client.
Now I have to install the V9.7 data server client in parallel with V8.2 admin client in the same machine and configure the V9.7 client to connect V9.7 server.
According to the inforcentre, I can keep v8.2 and v9.7 client in the same machine (in two separate folders).
The question is, can I run the both versions in parallel?
If I can run only one at a time, then how do you switch between two instances.
Please advise.
