    DB2_USE_ALTERNATE_PAGE_CLEANING and HADR

On an application with a very high volume of inserts, is there any reason
not to set DB2_USE_ALTERNA TE_PAGE_CLEANIN G=ON for a system that is running
    HADR?

I fail to see the relationship. What are you thinking of?

No relationship that I know of. I am a little suspicious as to why this is
      not the default.

I think it will become the default over time, but there are still some
workloads where the "old" page cleaners do better.
Nothing to do with HADR though, I know that much.

        Cheers
