Clob

All,

I have a column with clob size of 1 MB.I want to increase it to 5 MB but i could not figure out how to do it using the alter table statement.

Can somebody help me out.

This is not an answer to your question but a doubt....

Could you tell me for what you use the datatype clob?
And the difference between blob and clob

The size of the CLOB and BLOB data type cannot be increased
