To start with DB2, I would suggest you to install DB2 Express C and check out the samples present in <install-path>/SQLLIB/samples directory. These samples are a very god resource to start with. You can choose samples depending upon your preference of language. You will find samples in most of the languages.

Let me know your thoughts on these samples.

    Regards

      Morning,

you didn't tell us what you're intending to do with DB2. Is your task administration, or are you a developer? And if this is so, which language / dev. environment are you planning to use?

For a start, the suggestion of Sanjay is a good one. Download and install the Express-C version and study the samples. You'll find it as well as documentation for admins and developers at IBMs site [1 ].

      Regards,

      Bernd
