Hi all.. can anybody tell me what DB2 Connect is used for.. is it for connecting our db2 system to other db2 systems as well as other rdbms systems?

what do u mean by DB2 SERVER connect to SQL server ,what do u want?
if u wanna move data from db2 to sql server,u need the thirt part software.
of course ,u can do it by hand .Comment

u can search "jta" in google .this technical allows us operate two heterogeneous db .u can write several line code with j2ee so that u can send "sql " to the db u want .i did it several days b4. its not complex at all.Comment
