    Display table structure graphically

    Hello NG,

I'm quite new to using DB-2 and I wonder, if there's a tool to display/print the table structure graphically.

I seach the printed docs but I couldn't find anything.

Background: I have to take over a DB-2 project in quite a short time and I would like to have a quick overview over all tables.

    Any hint ist greatly appreciated!

    Best regards,

    -Karsten.

Download the DB2 Developer Workbench (free).
It has a schema-viewer where tables and their relations amongst each
other are shown. (shame lessly stolen from Rational).

    Cheers

The product is called DB2. Hopefully you are not referring to some other
      product like dbase.

The major commercial products that will reverse engineer diagrams from the
      actual schema definition are:

      ERStudio - Embarcadero
      ERWin - CA
      PowerDesigner - Sybase

Visio also has some capabilities along these lines if you only want to view
the resulting schema diagram (it does not do forward engineering).

The Aqua Data Studio product has 8 or ten different graphic displays of
whole or partial schemas. It is fairly inexpensive with impressive
support. A fully functional test version in downloadable from:
Aquafold’s Aqua Data Studio is the universal integrated development environment (IDE) for databases and visual analytics.

I am only a satisfied customer.
