DB2 on OS/390 - Administrative API ??

Is there an Admin API specifically for DB2 on OS/390 ? I know that
there is one for UDB on Win/Unix .. I need to get database/subsystem
configuration params from my application. Any help/pointers would be
greatly appreciated..
