DB2Connect - SQL8002N Error

Hi,
I have downloaded DB2 UDB v8.1 PDE for Windows from the IBM Website.
Now, I am trying to connect to our iSeries OS/400 Server.

But it gives the following error:

[IBM][CLI Driver] SQL8002N Connect processing failed; a valid
product license was not found. SQLSTATE=42968

I thought DB2 UDB v8.1 PDE was free of cost. When I go to the Licence
Center, it says that I have a Permanent licence for DB2 Personal Edition.

Have I missed something?

Also a Google Groups search using 'SQL8002' as the search argument
should find a thread on this newsgroup discussing similar config
problems (circa 2001, using DB2 7.1).

Does the PDE include DB2 Connect? I don't think so ... but I could be wrong.

No it does not.
It has to be downloaded as DB2 Personal Connect (free).
