my system date is automatically changing to 2005. ... If the computer was built in 2005, then this is most likely the BIOS manufacture year. ... when did it start happening (did u make any changes at that time?) ... i restart system my computer year has been change 2005 ..plz help me as soon as possible. Inside battery also changed but problem is not solve? pl advise...

Hopefully you already fixed this. Still, here goes ...

Sounds like your CMOS battery is dead. Try replacing it.

My computer has occasional glitches, too, and the date reverts to 01 January 2001. I suspect that the BIOS default date is 01 January 2005, in your case.
