Memory required for programming laptop

What amount of memory should I get for a laptop I will be using exclusively to develop .NET apps?

I would like to have adequate memory for development.

I think now days you need to have at least 4 and ideally 8gb memory. So many modern applications use a lot of ram.

If you are buying a new laptop look at the i5 core processor as well.

depend on the system os or windows and you have to double check with the max capability with hardware to support and i'll go for higher.
