On my joomla website if I click on menu item "About us", it shows the url as sitename.com/about-us.html. How can I change this page URL to about-something-something.html from about-us.html?

I believe there are some settings in the about us page that will let you change the alias and the name of the page.
Find the about us article and look for the settings that will change the tile and name and alias for the article.
