Convert String to integer ( hh/mm/ss )

Hi i need to convert below value char *time="00.00.05 "
i need to convert this to hh/mm/ss .... if anyone tell the logic pls....

00.00.05 is not a char value and hh/mm/ss is not an integer.

What are you trying to do?

I think the op is wanting to parse the string to extract the integer values. if so, sscanf should work.
