Converting from One Computer Programming Language to Another

Are there any free or inexpensive applets that can convert Basic to C++ that can be used on Windows?

To be honest there are so many dialects of basic I would be surprised if you found a converter, certainly a generalised one.

Additionally basic has some features that would make a direct convertion to C++ quite hard, like for instance non-existent typing on its variables.
