C XML Parser

Hello bytes.com community,

I would really appreciate your expertise on the best C XML Parser. Note that it shall be C and not C++ thus, for example, TinyXML is excluded from the filed.

i know about some projects out there (i am currently using the AXL libary http://www.aspl.es/axl/) but i would like some real world experience and maybe if you have found a library that is not so well-known but it worths a try.

And of course it must be open source and highly compatible.

I have heard about libxml for C. Find more on google for this. It is mostly open source!

Try for expect XML parser and i think it is fully in C
