Using VC++ SysAssert error while copying files

    Hi,

I am having a Microsoft Visual Studio Solution file "abc" present in the folder "foo" having having all the files.

Now accidently I did something to the solution file and it's giving "sysAssert error" at a location where i havn't done any modification.

now i took the same folder "foo" from dump and run it, it was working fine, but when i copied certain .c and .h files from my earlier folder to the folder i took from dump, the same asserion error is coming.

is the error is carried by those files only??

and yeaah I am very new to microsoft visual studio environment

    so please help

Considering you are new to Visual Studio, I would copy my .c and .h files to a safe place and then delete the solution that's causing you trouble.

Then create a new solution, add a project to it and then copy the saved files to the project folder and then add those files to the project.

I have no idea why you are getting this error. I have never seen it and there is nothing in MSDN about it.

I am curious about what you did to your solution file. That file contains projects and those projects contain files. The files have to be in the place they were when they were added to the project. If you move those files around, you need to a) delete the files from the project and b) add the files back in from the new location.
