    Bisection method

    hi..
    can someone help me..
    please show to me a siple coding about bisection method..
    i have the example..
    but it is too long.
    i can't understand..

    For a function f(x) and two values xl and xh it is assumed that sign(f(xl)) == -sign(f(xh)).
    Let xm= (xl+xh)/2. Replace xl with xm if sign(f(xl)) == sign(f(xm)), replace xh with
    xm otherwise. Check the case f(xm) == 0 where you've accidentally stumbled on
    a root of f(x).
