I think that's like the old c1. The old second pass compiler. There
was c0 c1 and c2 which was optional and for optimization.

Santosh these messages lately I have been reading and responding to have
intermixed messages. Quotes of people within quotes of other people. Aren't
you supposed to save the top nntp header? If people are going to speak in
the middle of other people's text maybe I should leave two headers intact.
I'm doing this all manually.

Generally you should snip the attribution lines for those posters whose
text you have completely removed from your post.
