cannot run test program while cross compiling.

Hi All,

While doing the cross compilation of pkg_config for directFB for MIPS
target from i86 platform, i am getting the following error.
"checking for extra flags to get ANSI library prototypes... configure:
error: cannot run test program while cross compiling."
Can any body help in this regard?

Why on earth do you think that comp.lang.c++ is the correct newsgroup to
ask? Is the program in question even written in C++?

If you are using some kind of package framework to build, ask in a
mailing list for that framework, if not then ask in one of the mailing
lists at www.directfb.org.
