need c++ tutorials

hi this is my first thread and i just registered to this site so just tell me if i´m completely missing something.

i wonder where i can get c++ tutorials where i can get a quick start without having to read 10 pages just to know that the actual tutorial begins 10 pages later again.
and i want to be able to go further quickly but still understand.
and after the tutorial i want to have enough knowledge to actually create something useful.

i have some problems understanding some parts of it like the difference between the different types of fundamental datatypes on page 2 and the difference between decimal hexadecimal octal.

i need something that can explain those parts a little more detailed and show what the different things are used for, in wich cases som are more useful than other and why.
