Is anybody working with VS2005 Express + DirectShow?

I just spent the most frustrating week of my life pounding on Visual Studio 2005 Express trying to get DirectShow baseclasses to compile. My success has left me feeling quite elated.

Not a single search brought me back to this site, so I've just added all the relevant keywords so others may find some live help.

I assume you have downloaded the Platform SDK. Yes? It does not ship with the Express edition.

You mention nothing of the errors you are getting. That makes it rather difficult to advise.

And, yes, I have all the SDKs. And, yes, they to not come with the project that I needed any longer.
