    I wanted to learn C. Can anybody tell me which is best book to understand C completely?

    Whichever book you can understand the most. I learned from this one (written by the guys who created C)

      Yeah, that is the one I started out with. I don't know if it is the best one, but you would think that they are the leading authority. :)

        Yup, those are the guys who created the language; my guess is that they at
        least know what they're talking about. The same goes for C++ (Bjarne Stroustrup)
        and Java (Jame Gosling et al). The best thing is that all those folks are good
        writers too so their books are not just good reads, they're an agreeable read too.
