c++ application source code which compile under gnu systems

Hi,
I am looking for c++ source code which compile under gnu, but not in
default c+ mode.
But I want small application (no graphics interface).

Is someone knows where I could find such applications.

This post is off-topic here since it is not related to the *standard* C
++ language (see http://www.parashift.com/c++-faq-lit....html#faq-5.9).
You want comp.sources.wa nted or some GNU-specific group.
