    Display bmp in C

    can we display bitmap image using C programming..wh ich compiler suits best..
    let me know the steps fallowed for displaying the bmp image

        I wouldn't've (new DeMan grammar) thought that the compiler would necessarily make much difference..... .Although different IDEs and the like may make a difference....

            thanks yaar, am yet to use VC++..but i have not worked it in before....wheth er i can display it visual c++ using ordinary C program with out help of visual sudio function
