We are seeking an individual who can has experince with product normalization. As a comparison shopping engine we get various offers (product listings) from hundreds of different merchants. We need to implement a method to consolidate the identical products. We currently receive merchant data feeds in XML formats that have no standardization . Some have product model numbers, some have SKU or UPC some don't have any. We currently have no control over the data received and we'd like to implement a product unification method or data cleansing system to help us match identical offers.
