Maybe it is just my newsreader but this message is at the top level and
so I can't see who, what, where, when, you are refering too. If it just
my reader being stupid then forgive my insertion into the
conversation... if not then you should really think about making sure to
reply to the thread in question or put something in the subject line to
refer to the thread instead of just posting to the group.

That's because he posted from groups.google. One of the bad things about
that is that it treats a change in the subject to mean, "start a new
thread." It also glomms threads together when the subjects are the same.
