Without judging why you are using a command to a printer to open a cash drawer, which is none of my business; I might approach it this way:

A command to the printer activates something. Probably a switch (or a relay); on/off, etc. Use the switch or relay to re-route electric to the cash drawer. You might need a second relay. You might need a transformer. If you need to isolate them then you might look into using an isolation transformer.

If this is too much for you, then get an electrical (component) engineer or an EE student that is at 3rd year or higher to help.

In case some self-righteous reader gets upset by my answering this, that is none of "your" business. The guy might want the cash drawer to open when a receipt is printed out for an honest transaction. Of he might want to break into a system that he does not own. Either way it is not my business and not someone else's business. This is a learning site. Someone should have answered him already with how to do it. Shame on you other guys (1,190 views) for reading and leaving him.

Sorry. That was maybe too harsh. Maybe you other readers do not know how do electrical component stuff. Circuit designing was beyond me at some point in my life. I did not consider that when I wrote my response. I apologize.

I am among giants in programming, and I am like a child. I will try to think more before answering again.
