Digital certificate signature on windows applications?

    Hi Guys,
Hopefully this should be a simple question.

We have some executables which we developed but when we run it over the network it shows us a security on windows xp asking if we are sure we want to run.

Ideally we would like to not have these warning message and to my understanding [please correct me if i am wrong], we need a digital certificate to sign our executables.

    1. Now being a layman in this area, I am clueless on how to sign our executables?
    2. I am already using snk key to sign our application and run caspol command to register it - would i need to change it?

Can someone please explain to me in simple newbie terms what i would need to do and how to proceed? I know that our sister company has a digital certificate which we are allowed to use but i am not sure how to use it. These are in .pfx file, .pvk and one .spc file.

Any help would be highly appreciated.... .

You can sign assembly using Signcode.exe
For testing purpose you could use Makecert.exe
