    issue with user control

hello...another issue, i opened up a project done in 2005 .net, in 2008 .net, and obviously, .net 2008 converted it.
I have been looking at the designer display and there is a user control, that exists, but i dont know how it was added, since its not there in the toolbox.
the class this control is an instance of is there in the references as a .dll.
I tried to add it to the toolbox by customize but failed.
I know there are other posts on this topic, but they are a bit difficult to follow.
    any input will be appreciated..

Right click the toolbox window and select Choose items. Then browse for an assembly which contains your control and it should work.

Remember that it must be a successfully built assembly which contains your control, so you won't be able to add it to the toolbox before first successful build.
