I think this question could be answered in one word, either "No" or "Name-of-
the-control".
Am (still unfortunately :-)) having to use .NET 1.1 at work. Would like to
display a simple text file within a control from which I could derive and
overload the normal Paint method. However, I would like the control to
support basic FIND functionality within the text.
Essentially I need a control which offers a cut down version of the
functionality offered by "Notepad".
Question : Is there such a control ?. If so, what. If not any other ideas.
I can imlement my own basic find functionality etc by overloading methods
when deriving from say a Text Box control, but do not want to begin to
reinvent an already perfectly formed wheel, if such a wheel exists.
Thanks guys and gals for your time.
