auto-indentation

I looked through the editor options and verified that indenting was set to
"smart"... and yet, noththe indentation in the code I'm looking at is still
all screwed up. Am I going to have to manually correct the indentation, or
am I missing something?

Edit -Advanced -Format Document

This will apply your indentation settings to the current file.
Unfortunately, you'll need to do this for each file.
