It really depends upon your needs. Usually something for free isn't going
to provide much real value.
If your charting needs are serious, such as writing an application where the
charts are a key feature or selling point, then I'd highly recommend
researching the commercial charting tools available. Google seaching ".net
charting" will offer many options.
Gigasoft ProEssentials' features goes beyond generic charting, especially in
the areas of technical charting, date/time handling, multi-axes, and general
robustness. Other tools will offer their own unique feature sets. Hopefully

Download ZedGraph for free. ZedGraph is a class library, user control, and web control for .net, written in C#, for drawing 2D Line, Bar, and Pie Charts. It features full, detailed customization capabilities, but most options have defaults for ease of use.
