    C# / Java book comparison

    Greetings

I've been reading the two Java core books by Cay Hortsmann.

They are the best language books I've read. They really get down to
    the little details.

I've read a bunch of .Net books, but none as hard core as these java
books. Has anyone read the java core books, and if so, do you know of
a .net/c# book that is of similar quality? I'm currently going through
the MCAD study guides, and those books are good, but they're not
nearly as detailed as the java core books. I want to be as enlighted
to c# as I now am to Java.

    Thanks for any references.
