Shortcuts not working when grid is readonly

    Hi All,
I am working with Windows Forms DataGrid.

I am suffering with the problem described in Knowledge
    base article.

815252 - Form Key Events Are Not Raised When You Type in a
DataGrid Cell with the KeyPreview Property Set to True

Can anybody tell me whether there is any workaround for it.

When my grid is read-only, no shortcut keys in my form
work when I press them while focus in grid.

    Thanks in Advance,
    Shravan.

    Shravan,

Unfortunately not. When a workaround is available, the knowledge base
article should be updated, or a new one will be published.

    Hope this helps.

      Thanks Steve,

After some search on knowledge base i found two articles
      about this:
      One describing this behavior
      One with a workaround

      Eric
      *************** *************** *************** **************

I could not communicate with him since that's a dummy
      address.

I searched KB, but could not find the workaround. so,
posted so that anybody out there could help me.

        Shravan,

Unfortunately, I can only find one. I would have emailed the poster of
that message, but the email address looks pretty fake. If I can find
anything, I will let you know, but I think that the poster might have been
        mistaken.

Somebody from Microsoft has to give a workaround for it.

          Waiting for their reply...
