open with new tab not working in IE

Hi guys this is a general IE problem.
Problem happens every time i click a link and select "Open in new tab" or "Open in new window".
Page not getting loaded and it still reamins revolving circle at the status bar.

If i click the stop button and then focus in the address text box and hit 'enter' the page loads immediately.

I have gone through all the general setting and security settings and could not able to find which one can solve this problem.
can any one help me to solve this.

    Appreciate the earliest responce..

Not sure how this is an asp.net question but...

Are you using IE8? You could start the debugger that comes with IE8 to see if there is an error client side (JavaScript) that is preventing your page from loading. If there isn't a client side problem then try using the Debugger in Visual Studio to see if there's a problem server side.

Hi Frinny Thank you so much for your reply!
Yah I know it is not related to asp.net but I did not find any of the other sections listed this issue belongs to. So as asp.net users much deals with IE I posed in this section. I also mentioned it as general IE issue in the beginning itself.

Coming to the issue my client is using IE 7. and there is no error in the programming or the java scrip page. In other system it is working fine.
Its only a general IE issue which can be solved by changing IE settings .
the issue not only for one specific site.. even if I open Bytes.com and right click on any link and press "open in new tab" or "new window" then the page not loads its just struck. If I open in the same window its loading.

Coming to the solution I did not able to trace the setting which needs to be changed so I just uninstalled and installed IE7 and its working fine :)

      Thank you very much.

Well I'm glad you've got it working now.

I would recommend upgrading to IE8 though: it's nicer, it's more standards compliant (making developer's life a bit easier), it's fixed a bunch of things that weren't working properly in previous versions of IE, it comes with a debugger...and when you switch back to IE7 you really notice how much better it is.

Yes Frinny I agree with you.
IE 8 is with many betterments. The above issue is raised in my clients system as they are having some other Sites which they use for their regular works . She doesn’t wants to upgrade now. :)

Any way thanks for your valuable suggestions
