HELP with Lucene.net

I hope someone is using Lucene.net and can help me to make it work
since (in my opinion) documentation for Lucene.net is poor or I'm used
to different kind of documentation.

Can someone explain step by step how to create index (there is source
code but how I call index), how to search (also, there is source
code), etc. I'm new to .net and I try to learn by samples but
lucene.net is totally confusing me.

This article on CodeProject explains implementation of Lucene.net. For
someone it is probably very simple but for me...I don't know where to
search anymore!
