    Client Print PDF

Does anybody know of a way to print a PDF on a clients browser without
opening the activeX PDF viewer (that is if the client has it installed.

    TIA,
    Jim

    print or display?
you can not print anything to the client's printers without interaction.
If they have a PDF viewer installed it will probably auto-open if you link
to a pdf, but it's a setting of the users you can't force.

      Re: Client Print PDF

This is what I am envisioning:
User form that has various report parameters.
render the report in a iframe and have a print button, user clicks it, a
PDF is generated and sent to the printer instead of rendering it to a
window. The information in the report will be printed on a pre-printed form
so the spacing of the fields are absolutely critical that's why I want to
use PDF for the printed document.

      Thanks,
      Jim

            see

They have a PDFPrint product to do this.
I haven't used it but I thinks it does what you are looking for.

smartertrader.n et called print manager that sounded like it may help you
              out.
