    machineKey values: how?

How can I get my unique key values for the "validation key" and
"decryption key" attributes in a <machineKey> element in my web.config?
Is there any tools I can use for?

Any input would be highly appreciated.

    RE: machineKey values: how?

    TK,

We have sample code for that in the following articles:

312906 HOW TO: Create Keys by Using Visual C# .NET for Use in Forms
Microsoft Support is here to help you with Microsoft products. Find how-to articles, videos, and training for Microsoft Copilot, Microsoft 365, Windows 11, Surface, and more.

313091 HOW TO: Create Keys by Using Visual Basic .NET for Use in Forms
Microsoft Support is here to help you with Microsoft products. Find how-to articles, videos, and training for Microsoft Copilot, Microsoft 365, Windows 11, Surface, and more.

Note that these articles refer to Forms authentication, but the same
applies to any use of the <machineKey> element.
