Hi,
I have just installed the server components of Visual
Studio 2003 Enterprise Architect Edition on a server with
Windows 2000 Advanced Server (SP3).
When I attempt to create a new Web project on this server
I get the following message....
The web server reported the following error attempting to
create or open the web project locate at the following
URL [url] HTTP/1.1 500 Internal Server error
When I look at the log file for the default web site it
shows this error message...
/get_aspx_ver.as px - 500 Microsoft-Visual-
Studio.NET/7.10.3077
By the way this file doesn't appear to exist anywhere on
the server (not sure why it reports a 500 if it doesn't
exist) or on my workstation.
I have removed the frontpage server extensions and
reconfigured them again.
My user account is in the VS Developers and frontpage
([server] Admin) groups and I am an Administror of this
server.
Anybody know a solution to this problem.
