Pulling data from other websites

Hey everyone,

I have ran a few online hockey pool websites last year, and was wondering if there is a way to "pull" the players stats from another website (say tsn.ca) and insert it right into mySQL database, so it automatically updates my pages.

Is that possible?
If not, is it possible in PHP?

That would save me HOURS upon HOURS of work!

Any help is appreciated!

this very old thread dealt with this question, he didn't do anything with that besides display it, but he does show how he pulled up the data from the other site. try it out and see if you can get it to work, then if you have specific questions I'll be happy to look at them.
