500 Server Error - Grrr!

I have recently installed iss - but my iss help files seem to be missing in action (much to my frustration!)

When I click 'Start'>'Run'>" http://localhost">'OK' I have 2 windows open.

The first window displays the default page no worries, but the second window comes up with the 500 Server Error:

Error Type:
Server object, ASP 0177 (0x800401F3)
Invalid class string
/iishelp/iis/misc/default.asp, line 12

...Microsoft support link only says;

In order to correct this problem, perform the following steps:
1. Open the Internet Services Manager MMC (or custom snap-in) and navigate to the Administration Web Site.
2. Right-click on the Administration Web Site and then click on Properties.
3. Click the Home Directory tab, and look at the settings under Application Settings.
4. Click Create.
5. You have now created an application for the site.
6. Click OK.

I have tried creating an application on the Admin website (as outlined above) and was successfull in doing so but still no iss help files only that damn 500 server error!!
Be kind - I only wanna put an .asp Guestbook on my site that I have built myself & I am a virgin to .asp, iss, mmc, etc!!

...Yeah after such a staggerring response to my "500 Server Error" I am happy to say that I have resolved my problem. :)

Unfortunately, I don't exactly know what I did but it involved going back into the control panel>Add/Remove Programs>Add/Remove Windows Components twice;

First time to un install iss - second time to re install it.

Rebooted after un installation ;)

Start>Search> "iisHelp" and presto - found the missing default help files. Mucked around with a few other things, too, including re-trying microsofts above recommendations ...

...Start>Run>"h ttp://localhost" now opens both of the default pages in their respective windows with NO MORE SERVER ERRORS!! :D
