    Using IISADMPWD Virtual Directory

I have been trying to get my intranet web site to automatically display the
change password page when the user's password is about to expire. I have
configured the IISADMPWD virtual directory according to KB 184058. Reading
through the KB articles I could find, I get the idea that there is supposed
to be a way for IIS to automatically notify a user when they log in that
their password will expire soon, but can't seem to get this to happen. Is
there some sort of IIS setting that I need to do in IIS to make this happen
or am I just dreaming here?

    TIA
    Ron L

IIS 5 on Windows 2000 SP4. We are also using Integrated Authentication.

Yes, I have done that as well as configuring the PasswordCacheTT L,
PasswordChangeF lags and PasswordExpireP renotifyDays specified in 184619.
After I set up the virtual directory and set those parameters I restarted
IIS. I had thought that I could access the web site with a user whose
password is about to expire and receive a notice that this was the case, but
          I don't get any notice.

actually, i have found that it only comes up when a new account is created
which has the flag set to change pw at first login. after that, nothin.

Oh. I guess I'll have to break down and write my own code to check and call
the page when necessary. Oh Well! Thanks for the help.

                  George
Thanks for the response. I had found that KB article. I think I have
things working properly now, but it involved a little more code than I
                  thought it should have.
