How to configure IP Based virtual hosting in apache server?

I am student. I am studying "internet technology" subject. In this subject, I am studying about virtual web hosting. Here in this topic, I am studying about types of virtual web hosting. They are-:

    1) Port based virtual web hosting

    2) Name based virtual web hosting

    3) IP based virtual web hosting

I am asked to write "how to configure ip based virtual hosting in apache server" in exam for 5 marks(Subject's full marks is 80)

I just want to learn this thing. Please share me some article or book(I m not talking about reading whole book for this, just a part of book) or anything helpful. I want to learn step by step how to do it. I am seriously feeling clueless in this thing.

The problem that is is that, I don't have any textbook in our university. :( We have to learn from free pdfs available in internet. There is not a specific book that was made for our university. And neither is there any effort from teacher's side. Everyone is extremely chill here. (nepal).

There is a solution book which contains short notes for digesting before exam. And it contains some information about configuring name based virtual hosting, but I can't see how I can implement this. The commands are confusing(We weren't given any class for this thing).
