    Not able to access wamp server with IP address

    I have installed wamp and everythings working fine with the local host. But i want to show my web page to a friend in some other place . I tried to access the wamp server through my ip address(interne t provided by idea modem), but it isn't showing up!!!

    I have made the server online !!!

    I have allowed port 80 in windows firewall !!! but nothing helps!!!

    SO please help me in this matter!!!!

    open your httpd.conf file
    go to the line
    <Directory "c:/wamp/www/">
    #use the below .....
    AllowOverride all
    Order Allow,Deny
    Deny from none
    Allow from all

      Which IP address are you using? the LAN or the WAN? You need to use the WAN IP and you need to foward the port from the router to your LAN IP.

        yea i am using the wan ip . i am using the idea internet modem for my internet connection . and still no been able to access the server ...

              You go to your router settings. Find the section that says something like port forwarding. And tell it to forward port 80 to your LAN IP. Each router is different so that's all I can say.
