    i have one big doubt.

    1. XAMPP installation is better or Manual install is better for PHP, MySQL & Apache???
    2. May i know benefits and faults of both type of installation.
    3. XAMPP is secure or not?
    4. Which one is more secure???

      Im using Windows XP Professional.
      I need to work on my companies new blog.
      can u suggest perfect manual installation details for PHP, MySQL, Apache and IIS.

        Apache AND IIS? Why are you doing that?! These are two technologies which perform the same functionality, and running them side by side would require extra configuration.

        WAMP5 is a nice installation for PHP, MySQL and Apache, as is NetServer. At the end of the day I feel that NetServer is more robust of a tool, but WAMP has a nice interface for configuration and setup.

          Xammp is definitely way better. so if you had xampp in mind stick to it.
