error installing apache

I'm installing apache and php on a Fedora linux OS where while configuring
Apache following error occured:

configure: error: Cannot use an external APR-util with the bundled APR

Please help.

Are you installing from source, using an rpm, or going through RedHat's package manager? I'm guessing you're compiling from source (as the 'configure' error), have you considered using the GUI package manager?

(Did you try updating the apr-util you're currently using?)

Using the GUI manager is much easier to work with IMO. it just works! =D
