Require Results in Cross tab query

    Hi,

I would like to generate report of volunteers.

    my Tables are as:

DepDetail: Contains all information of Departments and activities.

ActivitiesDetai l: Activities assigned to different volunteers and activity time also.

I would like to get the report as:

    Code:
Activities Roll down updo checking so on...
    6:00 Am Mr.A Mr.B Mr.C
    6:30 AM Mr.C Mr.B
    7:00 AM Mr.A Mr.M
    so on..
Time slots are in different table and Activities are dynamic in department detail table.

I have attached snap shot what i am looking.

Thanks and waiting of your response.

You've barely provided the needed information. We really need to see the structure and data in the tables (only a few records, not the full data-set ;-) ).
You can hand enter these (as you did in your original post) and use the [CODE/] format tool in the post-toolbar to retain the tabular structure.
Please indicate which fields are (primary/foreign/self-join)-keys

IN any case, you need to start with learning about the crosstab query structure.
A fairly good starting tutorial is located here on Allen Browne's site (( Crosstab query techniques ))

+ If you will attempt this based on the tutorial linked to in my prior post and post your results we can be of much better help. It's not the normal custom here to just "do the work" for someone as many of our experts are usually doing this from home or between tasks at work under very limited time constraints. In fact, where I am at, I should be in bed asleep, suffering from a little insomnia induced by a cranky 3 year old :)

+ I'm sorry, I don't down load unrequested files nor do most of the experts. Please understand that most of us work in secured environments; thus, such downloads are often restricted or even outright prohibited.

What is needed is for you to actually provide the information requested as a text entry in a post within the thread. Only a few records need be entered for each table and the data can be generic in nature provide the data is of the same type-cast as the original.

+ Finally, the image in your second post appears to be the same as the first; if so, then I can remove it if you would like.

          @ rehanemis:
can you post your SQL of that crosstab in comment ? I and everyone else have to see it before we can give any further suggestion.
