How to open protected Ms-Access database in ms access?

    Hellow,

How can I open protected Ms-Access database. When I try is say "You don not have the necessary permission to open the file. Have your system Administrator or the person who created this object establish the appropriate permission to you. "

    I also tried to use command line interface to open it as '"C:\program Files\Microsoft Office\Office12 \msaccess.exe" "E:\ams\db\imsd b.mdb" /wrkgrp "E:\ams\db\imsd b.mdw"'
But it says "Microsoft Access could not find the file. This file is required for startup."

Image of both error message are attached.

    Gobindap,

This does not appear to be an MS Access problem, but one that you must resolve with your network administrators, as they must grant you proper permissions to the drive you are trying to access.

Thank you for your kind response.

Maybe, but the file I am trying to access is located in my personal computer's hard drive. I also have ensured all rights like change, modify etc to me. Even if it does not allow me to access me.

If you have any idea than please help me.

        Gobindap,

DId you create this DB or did someone else? If it was someone else, you may need to contact the person who created the DB.

Have you tried to run without the "E:\ams\db\imsd b.mdw" argument? Sometimes that may help.
