    Access 2013 or 2010?

I need to buy Access 2010 for a current project. Is there any reason to not just go all the way to 2013 instead? I currently use 2007 and 2003 versions.

I use Access 2010 and I love it much more than 2007. I have done a little in 2013, but not enough to know if I like it or not. 2013 has more cloud integration, but I don't use that.

I think your first stop should be here:
Discontinued features and modified functionality in Access 2013

It also appears that they have messed with the interface again... maybe not to the extreme as with ACC2003 > ACC2007; none-the-less, some changes.

The only real positive I see here is the move away from the JET/ACE to SQL/AzureSQL.

I would set up a proving PC, download the trial version first and play with the trial before purchasing.

Thank you both. For now I'll go with 2010. That link is very helpful. Lots of useful things deprecated in 2013.
