    OK another odd question.

I've put to tables together with a query, now when I try and update the query it will not update. Is there something I'm missing. The query is joined together by a common column. Is there something in a query I need to set to make it so I can edit it? I've checked the properties and there is no locks, the join properties is set to the 1 I've tried both the two and three options and still nothing.
Again thanks for all your help.

Not all queries are editable. It's hard to say why when you haven't shown us the query but you can read more about it from Microsoft here: http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/aa198446.aspx

I went back and looked at the two tables, set the link column to the primary key and that seem to do the trick. Thanks for pointing me in the right direction.
